Ok guys with a little of you guys helps I went to bass pro and purchased a fly rod. Whe I got it it was set up for a right hand fisherman. I had to switch the reel around and a couple other things inside the reel that the instructions showed me to do. My question is, When should the reel click, when your reeling it in or when the drag is going out? It wont click doing both.

Some reels click both ways, but I suspect you don't have that kind. In your case, it should click going out.

If it's not clicking when line is pulled off the reel, I would take it back to BP and let them set it up correctly for you.

That's one issue with buying a combo. They're almost always set up for right handers. If you buy just the reel at BP or any fly shop, they will always ask if you prefer RH or LH retrieve.

You will also need to remove fly line and backing re-spool it. Line will now be coming off reel at base if you switched from RH to LH.
