This will be a fundraiser for Ryan and Catherine Lockhart. A little more than five years ago at the age of 30, Catherine was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She went through chemo, double mastectomy, radiation and reconstruction. For five years she has been taking medication and looking forward to being cancer free. In March she had an abnormal chest x-ray for something unrelated and began the chain of events that leads to now. Catherine has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer in her lungs and left ovary. She has begun treatment at Cancer Treatment Centers of America, which will be indefinite. She recently had to have emergency surgery to remove her gall bladder, so surgery for a hysterectomy has been postponed until she is healed. She currently has medical insurance with Ryan's employment and grateful for it. Unfortunately it doesn't include everything, prescriptions, co-pays, deductibles and the 150 mile round trips and some nights of staying over. To add to the unfortunate circumstances, she was laid off from her job on May 26th. Bills must be paid, groceries bought and utilities kept on along with medical payments that remain from her original illness. Please consider how you can help Ryan and Catherine financially. In addition she is looking for employment, flexible that will allow her to work around her treatments as well.
