Those look like jack o lantern mushrooms. You don`t want to mess with those.

Look like ringless honey mushrooms, but it's hard to say without seeing them in person, and doing a spore print. LBMs (Little Brown Mushrooms,) can be tough to ID.

I`ve thought about that since I made my post, and been looking through my books at this. I was wondering if I had misidentified those mushrooms.

They could be faded jacks, too, with all the rain we've had.

Honeys

I am going with spent honeys, but just a guess based on pictures and the shear number of honeys that are out and about right now.

Here are a couple more photos of the mushrooms. The hillside is covered up behind the house. All appear to be growing from oak stumps.
