I'd call it a Hardaway, app 9000 year old point, and about used up from resharpening. Very nice find.

Yep. That looks like one of the "HardaPalmer" variants that are transitional between the Hardaway and Palmer types.

Nice find!

Where did u find it? Creek or field or dirt road?

Found it Sunday after a family get together in a driveway. It was laying in amongst natural gravel and rock. The dirt drive is graded from time to time. I have found points on this property before but never one this nice. Thanks for the info.

A beauty! Do you know for sure what material that is?

It looks to me like Knox chert from east TN. I find a lot of points made from it up here.

Does it have a twist toward the point? I've found them around here in Cherokee county that have a twist
