thinking about deer season in the fall and decided to make up a gallon or 2.....found the recipe that i wrote down a
couple of years ago, so i figured i might as well try it...

Anyone had any actual experience with it ??? :pop::pop:

It works well.

IMHO, the trick is making the scrape in a manner and in a location in which an actual deer would.

Good luck!

Thanks....My hunting buddy and i are brewing up a couple
gallons for public and club land.....:flag:

It may be a bit early.....
I usually don’t start mock scrapes till deer start making em. It works better in cool damp fall weather.

I've see this comes up every season. Is there any science to this? I know ammonia is in pee and have read animals cant tell the difference but why the apple? I'm curious to try for a cheap attractant.

I make the same one every year. I've had phenomenal success with it. I don't start mine until mid to late October. I have a lot of buck pics in mine its hard to believe.

Don't forget the lick branch. That's the most important piece. I use Paul Pollick's pre-orbital on that.
