Lanier - Getting Hot!

Out today for a short 4 hour trip with Rory. Boated 20 keepers with some good ones and missed another 10 with Rory losing a solid 3.5- 4# spot on a swimbait right at the boat.

SpoTaker shakey head with Green Pumpkin Pencil worm and Herring Stix worm did the damage...the drop shot with Chartreuse Shad also boated a few. Rory also threw a large rooster tail for some fish too!

Didn't get on water until 10am as Rory had some business to handle early. First stop - 6 fish with Rory jumping out on me fast 4-2....Rock and wood with sand...out again tomorrow. Took a pic of the breakfast of Champions too. LJ

Nice fish! Number 4 looks like he's been fanning already. It's definitely time.

One of ours on Saturday also looked like that. Females should be moving up before too long now.

One of ours as well.

I went out with a friend on Sunday to a watershed up around Dawsonville, and they were already done. You could see the fry laid up in the weeds at the water's edge.

A friend & I have fished the last 2 Tuesdays & like LJ said it's on fire.

Caught over 90 for the two trips (10 hr. days) , all on Strike King 3XD crankbaits in 8-12 feet of water.

Wow, great job! Any hints??

Great day on water guys!! Planning on taking my son this Friday, any hints on where you were catching those beauties? He loses interest real quick if we ain't catchin! We will be putting in close to Lazy Days.

Secondary points with rock....about any place on lake but were in the Browns Bridge area. Go get'em....Jim and I will be back on the water Friday too. If you see us on the water, come say hello. LJ
