Hey all. I just wanted to share an awesome experience from last weekend. I am currently working on the full story for the TBG Newsletter.

Three years ago I showed my wife the advertisement for the event, and I said "I'd like to attend this someday" , well she bestowed upon me that very gift last Christmas. 9 whole months later It became a reality.

It was a blast. I learned a lot and really needed to go back to the basics. I also never really had traditional coaching. Well worth the trip to Henderson, TN!

Focus on the center
Draw your bow
Anchor Aim
"Quit holding the string"

Good deal John. I am glad you were able to attend and have a good time.
Thanks for the pictures.

I like Byron. The times I have spoken to him he has always been very helpful, and easy to talk to.

I'm going to try to answer every one here:

Byron is as down to earth as you can get, super nice guy, easy to talk to, and is very helpful. He really simplified it all for me to get it to start clicking. After all he is an Alabama native!

We went over some gap shooting, did aerial, learned some string building, and we also tuned our arrows to our bows. Also got to hear a lot of great stories from Byron.

And yes it was very helpful.

Hope that covered it.

I also hunted on Byron's lease in TN. No deer to show off...was windy.

Good deal. I had a booklet once he had about bowhunting. He and Jerry Simmons once had hunts in bama. I wanted to go badly but never could make the trip. RC

Mr. Simmons is the man who got Byron more into bow hunting, he also makes an appearance in his Barebow tuning DVD

Byron said the Black Belt region is where it's at in AL.
