Got out with a buddy today and it was a rough start.
Couldn't find bait where I was catching it a few weeks ago, so I ran south where I thought it would be, but no luck there either. Luckily I picked up a few dozen shiners as backup.
Started at bartow and worked my way back to Kellogg with only a spot to show for it. Got a call from a buddy that was having luck further north so ran over that way. Landed a triple, two singles and broke three off (time for new line in the spinning reel).
Caught a few fish, drank a few beers - a successful day in my book.
