I had the pleasure of spending my last day of vacation hitting up my favorite trout hole today. Well, the results were pretty good. A mixture of artificials and live shrimp was used. Winds were calm and the water was crystal clear. Largest trout was 27". Smallest fish was 16". Left at 8am and back at home at 2pm. Tried for the last couple of hours to find a red but couldnt land one. Saw some tailing, just couldnt get to them. Landed a pile of Jacks, some puffers, blues, and even a whiting. Everything but a red. Still had a great day, and put on a show catching some nice fish with 2 other boats trying to get on my fish.
