What does a coyote den look like?

I know we have a lot of coyotes on our property. We even think we have a severe problem with them.

When camping, we hear them howling and barking during the night. We see a ton of coyote dung all over our club roads, too.

Every now and then I will come across small looking holes dug into the ground. Though they do not appear to be big enough for a coyote to fit in.

Anyway, can anyone provide some den pics?

These are some pretty slick creatures aren't they.

Thanks

What your probably seeing is the work of armadillos.

Yes, could be. Sometimes it's hard to tell unless it's all dirt around the holes. Some of these holes are huge!

Little burrows made up of whatever is around .Usually kinda deep if possible too.
In the side of hills ,in rocks .anywhere where they can hide thier pups.
