^ You are right. They kill trees and everything around. The place just go dead. Smell is horrible. And they do eat a ton of fish. They are a huge problem in Europe and very bad news.
More serious problem than some people think.

This is a serious problem. Please contact Georgia Fisheries Division and ask them to control these fish eating birds.
