Ancient dog hunt

Hunting deer with dogs goes back for thousands of years. The Roman city of Pompeii was buried under 20 feet of ash and pumice when Mt. Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD. The two photographs of the fresco depict a stag hunt using dogs and longbows. The unfortunate dog was left encrusted, still wearing his collar.

Man and dog have had a long relationship. Almost every continent has its own pariah dog too.

Nick, what would ours be, the "yellow dog" or the red wolf maybe?

Ours would be the Carolina dog, the "yellow" dog. Most of the Pariah dogs have a somewhat dingo look to them.
