We use both a thermal and a night vision unit while hunting. The ATN X Sight 2 is a solid unit to use. Battery life sux but if you get the battery pack(extra but worth it) it will run the unit for 20 hours. Right now they are very reasonably priced as ATN is coming out with a brand new nightvision scope that mounts with regular scope rings. ATN will release them this month hopefully. In the mean time, people are lowering the prices on the X Sight 2 to get rid of them before the new one is released.
