Homemade Blood Tracking Spray

Does anyone have a "recipe" for a spray to aid spotting blood?

Below is one I have seen before:

To determine whether a tiny drop of blood you’ve spotted really is blood, spray it with a homemade concoction of two parts water and one part hydrogen peroxide. Any blood hit by the spray will foam up slightly. The spray even works on old blood and shows up well under the light of a flashlight or, better yet, a Coleman gas lantern.

Also saw one that called for 75% HP and 25% water with some yellow food coloring added.

Has anyone use either or have a different one that will aid someone who is red/green color blind?

Thanks for the help.

Yes HP will make blood spot foam. Try it.

Sort of what I did not understand was why cut the hydrogen peroxide with water. HP is cheap and I know it foams when in contact with blood - cleaned up enough cut and scrapes to know that.

Does water make it work better?

Guess I better pour the juice off a couple of steaks in the backyard and then try both to see which works best.
