Still Chucking the Sebile w/pics

The bigger fish had me baffled for most of the day today but about mid-afternoon the big girls turned on big time. I caught fish in 3 different pockets in a south end creek. I probably caught 4-5 on the spoon this morning but there was no size to them. I started seeing some bigger fish surface mid-afternoon and I broke the Sebile out. They were crushing it. Water temps were 62 when I pulled out at 5pm.

Thanks Cletus. If they were chewing early I'd take you out on a hustle run but it's been the best from 2pm till around 4pm. That magic swimmer bite is hanging in there like a hair in a biscuit. I worked in the shop today but I couldn't stand it and ran back out from 2 till 5 and caught a few. It was a little cloudy this evening and may have slowed down the schooling.

Nice ones Chief......How do you like the enigma rod?
Thanks Hawk. My new Phenom is a work horse. Every one of the bass were slung in the boat including the big 4+. They are pretty good little rods IMO.

Outstanding

Beautiful fish! Some of those have obviously been feeding up for the winter!

Do you throw the slow sink or fast sink Magic Swimmer? Also, what is your typical retrieve.....fast, slow, steady, stop and go??? Thanks

Thanks Tigerbass. They are feeding like crazy on 1-2 inch threadfin right now.

I'm using the slow sinking model with a pretty quick retrieve. I'm keeping it just below the surface and waking it sometimes. There are some larger 2nd year bluebacks cruising the surface in the sunniest part of the day and the sebile 125 is the same size as the 2nd year bluebacks.
