While checking some deer crossing for my last deer hunt for the 2017 and 2018 season, I jumped this rabbit out of some small river cane. He only ran about 10 yards and stopped. I couldn't make him out so I crept forward a few feet trying not to spook him. I made out his ears and sent a Velocity 500 with a Grizzly broadhead at my brown object but it went low and the rabbit bound off another 5 yards into the sunlight and in full view. I reached into my Dawgware quiver and pulled out another velocity shaft but this time with a Tiger Shark on the end. Land Shark was the other option I had but the Tiger got the luck of the draw. The rabbit went straight up in the air and back down when the Tiger Shark sliced through him. No running off just a dead rabbit. He's in the frig soaking in salt water for some cajun stew in a few days.
