Well I’ve already posted on FB and bass boat central however I’m hoping someone here can help me. I bought a used elite 7ti today with the totalscan transducer. I was aware that the unit would freeze upon starting it up but I thought I may be able to fix it. Well, I’m not. The unit fires up, shows the elite ti logo then that’s it. I tried the soft and hard reset, no go. It doesn’t even acknowledge that I’m trying to do a reset. The power button works to turn it on but then it won’t turn it off. I also tried to download the software update but that didn’t work either. I even let it sit on the screen for 20 minutes with no results. Is there anything I can do before I give up and pay $325 for a new unit from lowrance?
