Hit lanier this morning from sun up until 10:30. When I was leaving it was already a madhouse. Jet skis and wake boarders going in between me and the point I was fishing was when I decided to scoot.
Cant be mad, not like I didn't know what I was getting into on a holiday weekend. Waiting in line at the boat ramp was comical to say the least...
Topwater was awesome! Lots of small striper and spot action. No bigguns but enough to have a great time.
Echo reports from the last week, points and humps with brush in 20'ish. No trouble finding fish, just hard finding the big ones.

I work on the weekends, fishing during the week is the only way to go.

What topwater bait were you throwing? We only had one keeper spot on topwater but killed them on drop shot. Any size striper on topwater is fun!

Sexy Dawg in Bone color. Caught a few casting to schooling fish, most were caught fan casting on a point and hump I found that were loaded with feeding fish.

Took a friend of mine and his son who has autism Saturday

Managed one 15 lb striper before crowds, then Worley and I went Monday and I managed 2 spots on Top and Worley wrangled up a striper
