I have been working on and off for the last few months on a 2x72 belt grinder... Not perfect but I think it will work well for me.... still finish the rest and get a small wheel attachment....

I've been very happy with the plastic wheels on my grinder. You will know pretty quickly if you don't have enough spring.

On the OP's grinder it would be interesting to see if you could come up with some flat shims of plastic or wood to place in the sliding tension section of the machine. This would tighten up the tolerances of the sliding portion.

Looking good cuz!
You get a whole shop full of knife building tools together and I might have to drop in on you.... ;)

The shims are a definite need that will hopefully be in place in the next week....

And Cuz as far as the shop full of knife building tools....Its full now.... mostly because of the size of the shop and not the massive assortment of tools...lol
