small Cobia 26 May

Fished J reef on Saturday hooked 2 cobia, one wrapped up in prop and broke line boat side the other was 32 inches and fed reg said 33.

Saw some bigger ones but didn't hook them. Did catch 2 nice triggers.

I want to go again in 2 weeks and really target the cobia.

EDIT; 36 INCH COBIA SIZE OFF GA,,,,, 33 IS OR FLORIDA

Surprisingly just on bottom rigs with small chunks of squid going for the seabass /trigger/porgies etc

On the last drift over live bottom my buddy caught a real nice eel which would have been a sure fire cobia bait but was getting late in the day :banginghe

and was already 2 drifts after the time I said "ok this is going to be our last drift we need to head back" lol

Double check regs. Should be 36"FL
