Abu Garcia Veritas comfort problem

I have the first edition of Veritas bait caster 6"9 and I keep getting blisters or raw place in between the two fingers of the index finger and middle finger with my rod. I do not know if it is the trigger or the rod seat itself. The inner side of my index finger facing the middle finger is a constant soreness. What is a good way to prevent this especially when it is one of those hot summers here in Georgia?

Do what I did and give them away (or sell them on the classifieds), then order some One 3 Rods from Tackle Warehouse. I had two of them and could never get used to them.

How did you like the new One3 rods that are out now? Are they micro guides?

Maybe put a band aid or some electrical tape on your hand there before you go fishing to take the wear instead of your hide. ??

They are great! I have a few different models and I love them all. Great quality and yes, they have micro guides.
