I'm thinking about taking a trip to the coast soon and was wondering what my chances are of catching a shark this time of year. I know I've caught some big rays when it's cold but never fished tybee for sharks when is cool.

I never catch sharks til about end of April through Oct. At the reefs i sometimes catch spiney dogfish sharks

It's a little early. Might get into some dogfish and rays. Couple of weeks and the reds should make a small push...

I live 3 hours from the coast so I want to make the best of each trip. I've caught some real good whiting this time of year going to take a trip next week to st simons and try down there be nice to catch a sheepshead or two
