Fastest way to load waypoints?

I've acquired a book of offshore numbers from a friend. I've been loading them manually for about a week now and I'm getting nowhere fast.. Think I'm on page 3 of about 20. Is there a way I could load them on my laptop and then to a card? Is there any other way other than standing in the boat..sweating like a mule trying to scroll in all these numbers and names? Keep in mind..I'm not too tech savvy. Thanks for any input.

Give that book to Pappy and let him load the numbers for ya. It will not cost you a dime.

lol Good luck buddy.... I have never even owned a GPS to punch waypoints in, much less entered any.

What kind of unit? I can make files to load humminbirds or a gpx file I can convert to garmin's format.

Garmin format is gpx. There are several ways and sites. Just run a quick search. Some will even convert excel files for you

Garmin 73 DV. I saw one video but it looked like they were loading the purchased cards.. Not manually logged in waypoints

Just need to put them on a microsd in gpx format and the unit will do the rest.
