Hawkin front sight

My eye sight is not very good and now I have found I can't see front sight well enough to hunt. What can I do to make sight more visible?

White paint pen. Or swap it out for a brass bead.

My Lady painted the front sight on both my Plains rifle and my flintlock longrifle with pearl colored fingernail polish. It helps a lot.

I got a diamond post pierced earring from my wife and with dremel and epoxy mounted it facing rearward on top of front sight's blade.

Same issue, took a file to my brass sight to rough it up a bit and put a dab of white nail polish on it.

Enamel appliance repair paint is bright and lasts longer, hard to top the diamond though..

T/C also makes fiber optic front and rear sights that fit Hawkens, Renegades, etc...I'm sure there are aftermarket brands too. Give em a try.
