Hello gang,
I am a Georgia native, 31 years old, and I just bought my first boat. I have bank/dock/pier fished forever, and now it's time to get out there on the water and put some fish in the boat. I am interested in inshore/nearshore saltwater and freshwater fishing. I want to take advantage of Georgia's coast (4 hour drive), and nearby lakes (Lanier/Sinclair).
I am taking her out Sunday the 3rd on Lake Lanier. The weather is supposed to be very nice. I have only been striper fishing twice, and both times I didn't have to do much but reel. This time I have to find them myself, so any help would be appreciated!
Boat info: 2001 Century 2100 DC w/Yamaha 150
It is a traditional dual console with forward bow seating and equipped to fish. 4 total rod holders for flat lines and planer trolling, livewell, GPS, and fish finder. The lights and horn work too.
