Browning Nomad II

Any info would be appreciated on a

Browning Nomad II Recurve.

I believe they were from the late 60s to mid 70s.

They were fairly typical of mass produced recurves of that era. Pretty plain by today's standards but plenty serviceable. Probably worth $100 or so in good condition.

Wish I still had the one I sold to buy my first compound. Worst mistake I ever made:O

Thanks for info, John. My buddy has a 51@28in Nomad. His Incle shot a deer with it. He’s interested in picking it up and learning trad with it.

I really liked the one I had, but I got caught up in the compound mire and sold it. I have been reclaimed by the traditional archery and it is fun again, and not all about killing something, but having a good time shooting and hunting with good friends. The killing is icing on the cake.

Hey, I got one, too. My first bow. Still shoots better than I do.
