I hope you don't starve to death over there.......
Nice DF. I would love to live in a place where you can get fresh stuff like that every day. They eat good there and if you notice there are not a lot of overweight people. Processed food is the debil...We were there for a week eating like that everyday. Came home and I only gained one lb. Of course walking a lot there helped too
Yup. It's also interesting to notice portion size in Europe. There's also different idea of what being full and/or satiated is there. We tend to think that being full and satisfied means how we feel just after Thanksgiving dinner. We have a notion that if if one is good then eight is better. "Man I'm stuffed" is actually over fed, but it feels so good until it doesn't.
I'm starting to have difficulty trying to teach my daughter self discipline when it comes to eating. When we go to parties at other people's houses I often see her hitting the chips bowl repeatedly over the course of the night. It might be because we don't eat that kind of stuff around the house.
I honestly have no idea what this was but for the most part it was pretty tasty. Black rice with chicken and zuchinni, some sort of spinach lasagna something, and that green ball in the back.... no idea but it was just plain nasty. We were at a sort of deli counter and I kept asking my daughter what everything was. Her response " don't have time to explain it all Dad, just point and shoot".
