Well, The Dr.s feel that they have done what they can with her refusing rehab, so the plan is to discharge her tomorrow to the dialysis treatment center and then home in the afternoon. She will go to dialysis three days a week from now until?

Mom got to go home today after a dialysis treatment. She opted out of rehab. They have already gotten the in home oxygen equipment and are trying to set up in home care. She will have three dialysis treatments lasting four hours each every week til the end now. I would like to have seen a better outcome, but considering her condition I know that she was tired of being in the hospital and just wanted to be home to finish out what time the good Lord has in store for her.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. They have made a very frustrating situation for me, being out of town, much more tolerable, and there is no doubt that the prayers have led to this point, instead of what could have been the alternative. I appreciate each and everyone of you more than you will ever know.

Thank you folks for your thoughts and prayers. It is comforting knowing you have friends supporting and praying for you and your family.
Mom is slipping pretty fast, and they disconnected the telemetry and IV's this morning and this afternoon we moved her to an "in patient" hospice facility so they could make her comfortable until she is called home. We are now focused on supporting dad with losing his soul mate of 55 years. He is resting good and hanging in there, but today was an emotional roller coaster for him, but thankfully all of the family and plenty of friends were in and out to support him. Thanks again for your continued prayers and support.

The Lord took all of the pain and suffering away from Mom last night at 10:25. We all know that she is in a much better place now, but it doesn't take away that empty feeling. Thank you to all of my Woody's friends for you prayers, thoughts and support. It has been a long journey, now we can begin the healing.
