The Cocker Spaniel Specialty Club of Georgia is proud to celebrate its First Annual Spring Hunt Test next week.

We are very pleased to have as our judges in Jackson, GA this year: Vickie Dahlk (WI), Venee Gardner (GA), Frank Martinez (GA), and Kaye Bennett (WI). Tests will start at 8 am Saturday & Sunday.

We have an entry limit of 35 dogs for each day. Entries are open, BUT CLOSE TOMORROW AT 11:59 PM at HUNTSECRETARY.COM https://huntsecretary.com/evententries_AKC.asp?mhuntid=1002669. Premiums and info on there.

An additional, separate Working Dog Test for traditional Flushing Spaniels will start at 11 am Friday. Parent Club approval has been granted for all Flushing Spaniels. Registration for this will be walk-up, and limited to 12 entries.

Spectators are encouraged - just bring some blaze orange (more than a hat) for the field if you have it. We hope you can attend and partake of our Southern hospitality, Friday and Saturday dinners, and wonderful home-cooked lunches, with a large dose of camaraderie. Every year, we get several folks attending and running spaniels from this list.

Come see Flushing Spaniels do what their breeds were developed to do!

Gil - down to four of my own. Starting to plan a breeding or two, so may add one or two more Cockers to the brood here.

Come on up to watch the hunt test!

It was a car load of nice looking dogs that you brought here to the clinic a few years ago. I'd love to be in Jackson, but have other plans. I hope those that enter have success. Gil
