Brought back to life

Spent the day detailing my 97 F-350 7.3l powerstroke with 143,000miles. Washed it, put on compound, then polish, then wax. It hasn’t looked this good in the 5 years I’ve owned it. Also replaced the aftermarket tail lights that came on it with OEM. It’s my daily driver and runs smooth as can be.

Great Truck!
What is you fuel economy ? city / highway / general

Highway is around 18mpg and city is around 15mpg when I can stay off the pedal, turbo whistle is just music to my ears. It’s bone stock except an S&D intake and a 3 inch down pipe off the turbo to 4 inch straight pipe exhaust.

I’m hoping to gain some more mpg once I do the ebpv delete and put a 1.0 AR housing and a better turbo wheel.

Those OBS 7.3's are the best of the 7.3 series of trucks, I had a 96 that I wished I had never gotten rid of. I've got a 99 now that isn't near the truck the 96 was.

Good looking truck !
