Not asking for spots or anything. Enjoy doing my own scouting and finding the birds myself. Just wondering if any of you have ever hunted Lake Wheeler in Alabama and have you had any luck. Thanks and good luck.

X2. Never a good idea to name drop a lake. It doesn't do any good for anyone. Yourself included.

It used to be good 6 or 7 years ago when they still had the milfoil but it sucks now. And its one of those places where you really have to know where you are going. Right of the 65 bridge still wheeler but can't hunt it. Stumps every were on the north side. I've seen that river drop nearly a foot in several hours so that can really screw you up when you're in the flats. And then you have plants all along the south side. Some you can hunt by, some you can't.
