Cleaned the smoke pole today, found a critter in the barrel!! I'am about ready for the state match now. If you can't shoot you can watch.

Anyone missing this event will pass up alot of fun and a chance to meet a bunch of great guys who collectively know more about muzzleloaders and black powder than all the gun writers on the planet. The shooting is absolutely just plain fun. This crowd is the least constipated and most friendly group of competetive shooters anywhere. Nobody gits snippy or arrogant about any of it though. Just plain fun with muzzleloaders. Lots of flintlock shooters will be there. The matches are patched roundball with open or any metallic sights. Come check it out. You wont be dissapointed.

Well, the 2012 Ga. State muzzleloading championship match is in the books. Clint Richmond from Senoia is the state champ. It was a great weekend. The wind was a little troublesome for the shooters, but a large time was had by all.
