I am taking a trip in the middle of October to Minnesota to visit a friend that has moved up there. I would like to do some duck/goose hunting while I am up there for a few days. We do not really care if we hunt duck or geese. He is not a big bird hunter and is not sure where to go. He lives about an hour north of Minneapolis. I know we could go toward the Dakotas, but we are not wanting to spend too much time traveling because I will only be there for 4 days. Has anyone hunted in the Minneapolis area? If so, could you point us in the right direction or share some advice? Thanks.
