Surf Fishing

I have the in-laws coming in this weekend and my father and brother in-law are driving me crazy to go fishing. I typically surf fish Saint Andrews on Jekyll. Does anyone have a suggestion as to somewhere I can take them and possibly catch a few fish.

My wife and I fish Jekyll a lot and we have caught a lot of bull reds, sharks, and other species both from the pier and the beaches. However, we fish the north beach considerably more than the south beach, which we only fish while we are seining for shrimp. If you fish the south beach you need to fish it near the point where the channel swings in close to the beach. The North beach has more deep access off the beach and will produce more fish, same can be said of the pier. If you have surf rods 11' or longer you can cast far enough out and won't need to Kayak baits out. Cut bait and blue crab for the Reds, cut bait for the sharks, shrimp or locally caught squid/cuddle fish for the rest.
If you can afford it, the best option would be to go with a guide.

Hope this helps.
