I wonder if the black ones stay black all the time. Just a thought. I’m mean a red fox will turn black but keep its white patches. (Cross fox)

I've seen a few over the years that I first thought were German Shepard's.....LARGE. Though I never weighed them.
The "true coyote's" out west tend to be 20-30 lbs...small.
