what fly or flies did you use?
One of my favorite things to do. Nothing like a big ole bream sucking a popper or spider under.

Amen to that..A fat bream inhaling a fly on the surface, on a 2/3 wt flyrod is really hard to beat..Great job!

Yep time for the poppers.......
Lake Harding is almost ready... not that you might not catch some today, but so it will be fantastic.
Orange Popper works best for me
I went fishing tues. with a new 3 wt. and had a ball I caught 10
bream, that 3 wt is just right for bream or small bass. the problem is then I had to clean them when I got home, but boy they will eat good. I will also try the 3 wt on trout as soon as possible. get out there and have a ball.

I went back to sloppy Floyd park again FRI morning, I took my grandson with me he is about 13-14 and is 225# not a bit of fat.
But he thinks he can fish any way he wants. I took my fly rod and
poppers . I got 8 nice size bream came home and cleaned them with him helping he is still learning. I think I am hooked on this
small fish side of fishing I bass fish a lot but this is great fun. I
think I will go to NC next week trout fishing, I fished the
Nantahala a couple weeks ago for first time really liked the river
above the tunnel outlet. Have a good day sunday
