I've seen crawdads as big as small lobsters caught in a fish basket come out of the Kinchafoonee Creek when I was a kid. We use to jam the baskets up under cypress roots. seemed to work pretty good.

Check out phinizy swamp and the brick ponds off gordon hwy... If you cant find some there you may as well give up
