Any suggestions for a good tree identification book? Im working on furthering my knowledge and i feel a good field guide or book would help. Thanks in advance!

Check out "Native Trees of the Southeast". You can order it on Amazon. I've had it since 2011. Been a great resource, particularly on identifying all the variety of red oaks. Still use it when I'm in the field.

I use the National Audubon Society book for North American Trees and Petersons Field Guide to Eastern Forests.

I have a National Audubon Society Field Guide to a North American Trees. It's been very helpful over the last 20 or so years that I've had it.

+1 for the Audubon guide to NA trees. Its designed to be used as an ID guide and it comes in handy if there are non-natives around. otherwise you'll do a lot of page turning and head scratching if you try to go out in the Southeast and ID trees with just a southeastern tree guide.
