Robert and I got to the landing at 8:00 and man the water was low. Saw and talked to Blue Spinner at the ramp. Good to see ya. Headed out to almost slick calm conditions.
. Headed In the Rock Island direction and got to fishing. It took a while but fish started flying into the box. At 6 in the box we put the next 4 in the live well as they were 15.25-16"
. It is 10:30 and we have a limit of trout. So we kept fishing hoping for bigger trout to swap with those on the well. I hailed members and got one response from Teachers pet? How did y'all do? Well back to fishing we traded one trout for an 18". Then I got this guy.
. Man what a pull for a trout. At 2:00 we decided to call it a day. Man it was a great day with one of my oldest friends.
. It was all because of my wife. She put the lucky duck on the boat.
