Fishing ? Instructor!

This year has been my best I've ever had in my life when it comes to fishing so far! Since I began the season in march, I've caught my first topwater fish, I've picked up new techniques, and I've caught a bunch of BIG memorable fish! 5+lb spotted bass, 20lb gag grouper, big sharks, a 350+lb Goliath grouper, many other big fish, and I broke my pb largemouth bass record 3 times in the last month and a half. Before it was about 5lbs. Many of you may remember I caught a 8lber and one pushing 10 last month, and I just caught a 7 today! I started out with the buzz bait and caught 3 bass, all about 2- 3lbs or so, then moved on to the Texas rig for another 2 fish about the same weight. Finished with the trusty shaky head and caught 4 more before quitting. And not a single dink!

They're modeled after African symbols and quilt patterns. They were a special black history month edition released some time ago. I forget when I bought them though

Near as I can tell, the only thing you've got wrong is waiting until March to start your season!

Awesome, awesome, awesome fish, and a heck of a year to have, with 3 months worth of fishing to go! Keep beating 'em up!

You make a good point! If I could stand the cold, I might be out year round! I'm still tempted to see how the trout and striper fishing is this winter though. Thanks for the support!

Great work! I don't like cold either, but you should still have at least another month and a half before it gets rough. Look for the bite to improve over the next few weeks too.

They're still hard to come by and pretty educated fish for the most part. A big fish is rarely a dumb one. Each one was caught on something where I was thinking outside the box and trying something new. Old standbys are always good to fall back on, but always experiment. For example, when I stopped getting bites on a black worm I tried solid white and dyed the tail and caught a few more.
