The regulation lake is about a thing of the past those large mouth and crappie are getting fewer every year they continue to stock it with stripe and spots they have really messed that lake up I can remember catching crappie by the bucket loads when I was 15 then we started catching stripers now your a lucky man if you get 10 fish in 2 trips of all day fishing

A muddy farm pond in Tallahassee in August, not so much.
Ha! I was raised on river fish around those areas. Redbellies n stumpknockers. Pond fish can be rough to eat. Just fry em a bit longer.
