I am trying to catch my first smallmouth, and I figured since we're going to the mountains nearby I would try the hiwassee on the Murphy side of the mission dam, tips for really anything except trout would be helpful, bait wise(will night crawlers be the best live bait to catch all species?)and so forth. and public bank access is necessary, I will be fishing from the bank NOT wading. any advice for any of these things are much apprecia
