Good guesses. I was hoping he would make Pope and Young I don’t think he will. I’ll have him officially measured at the end of February. I scored him at 127 5/8 gross and 124 2/8 net.

He had good G2 and good G3 length, but his beams are short, and his spread lacked. Post the measurements as I'd like to see how close I got. I added up 129, but I think I gave you more credit on the left G3 and probably his beam length.

A lot of people short themselves when measuring the beams. Including myself until i was showed by an official scorer. You have to measure all the way to the lowest part of the burs at the centerline of the beam. It won't add a lot but could add enough to get you to 125 if you didn't measure that way. He's a nice buck either way. Congratulations

I can find my sheet were I measured it at. G2’s was 11 2/8 10 5/8, G3’ 8 4/8 and 7 6/8, mains 20 1/8 and 20 0/8 inside spread was like 13 1/8. No mass was more then 4 3/8. Grossed just over 127.

Thanks! He’s my biggest bow buck. When he gets measured at end of February I’ll know for sure.

I'd say 127 gross. I got 124 the first time and 130 the second, so I took my average and will hang my hat on somewhere close to 127. Heck of a buck. Congratulations.
