One of my favorites. His version of "old Violin" and "I never go around Mirrors" will be tough to beat. He wrote a lot of good songs, but had an unmistakable voice. I'll miss him a lot.

RIP and thanks for the words and songs that I'll never forget.
True Country music just lost a good one.

Sad news. I got my hair cut at his mom's place in the early 90's. He had just left Cairo to try and make it.
