Victor grain free is a very nice food

Another food choice would be Fromm grain free (company has never had a recall in nearly 100 years)

Victor is very high in protein content and may be too hard on some dogs stomachs

A lot of people feed their dogs the 4health from tractor supply

I personally dislike purina proplan and blue buffalo. Blue buffalo has had way too many recalls as a company for my comfort and purina proplan does not contain ingredients that i personally like

Go to dogfoodadvisor.com and pick a dog food that is 4 or 5 star rating

Good luck

I feed my GSP Victor as well. Great food for the price. Whatever you decide to feed your pup check out the food on dogfoodadvisor.com They offer a complete break down on numerous brands out there. A quick reading of the major brands of foods available at the big box pet stores reveals that most are junk no matter what they say in their commercials or who they sponsor.
