I have been working on a 1994 25hp Mariner for a couple of days now. It was electric start with side mount controls. My son removed the control box and replaced it with a tiller handler. Now here's the problem I have spark on the top cylinder but not the bottom, but no matter what I try it has only spark on one cylinder. I purchased a new CDI box But here is the problem put the kill switch on run and the crank the engine and the bottom cylinder has spark but not top. Place the switch on off and the top has fire but not the bottom. I tried changing wires but all I'm doing is reversing the procedure. I would be pulling out but I have none left. Any Ides?
