Help on moving a tool shed or barn or whatever you want to call it?

My Dad has recently passed.
Mama is going to move into a smaller place.
This is way to much house for her..

Anyhoooooooo..

Anyone got a clue or a contact for a mover?

It's in a tight spot and I don't think it was stick built.

Since Pop is no longer here, and Mama has not a clue
I wanted to see about moving it since it will not add any real value to her house when she moves.

Two places in mind:

From Monroe, Ga to Walnut Grove, Ga.

Or from Monroe to just across I-20 bridge around Hwy
44, Lake Oconee.

Hauler will need insurance and all that good stuff.

L=16' 3"
W=10' 3"
H= 9' 7" at roof apex.

Thanks for any suggestions and approximate cost.

I had it done one time. My shed was a 8x10. A guy showed up with a roll off wrecker. By the time I could write a check , he done had it loaded. He made it look easy. Check around with these little building companies, they can steer you in the right direction.

Would you mind PMing me with a name and a phone number.
What did it cost, ball park, just so I have a base line and not get shafted.

Thanks

I have heard they won't load it unless it's empty. But that's just what I heard....

Probably cost the same as a regular tow?

We use the local towing guy and a rollback wrecker. I have one at work about that size. we have moved that durn thing across town and back about 5 times. $75 a pop. We are only talking about 4-5 miles a trip. Find one of those shed companies on the side of the road where your at and ask them who they use .
