Shooting Preserve lisence question

What does a landowner have to do to qualify their property as a shooting preserve and how much does it cost?
Thanks

You have to register it with DNR (get a game preserve license) There are certain requirements, such as releasing so many hundreds of birds. The fee used to be around $200.00, but I haven't looked lately.

This answer of course is for Georgia, who knows what they do in Florida.

You also have to check the local zoning, if any, to make sure that it is a permitted use.

Sorry, should have specified that it was for Georgia. Does it apply only for birds or does it apply for quail and deer?
