My buddy Chris and I had a very successful opening weekend thanks to Hurricane Irma. I would have had to work in Tampa, but due to Irma, I was forced to evacuate to Atlanta for the weekend - bummer? Haha. Seriously though - I am so thankful for an unexpected weekend of relaxation with friends and family - God is good.
Chris shot his doe on Sunday morning and I shot my doe on Sunday evening. Got to spend Sunday morning in the tree with my wife - beautiful morning despite not seeing any deer.
Oh yeah - I picked up a $40 dehydrator from Wallyworld and it makes AWESOME jerky.
