If you can make it to Nebraska, you can make it a couple more hours up to SoDak.
Broken Arrow Farms near Pierre does a great job and is within reach price wise of most folks that can afford to go.

Just spent 10 days in mid to western NE and CO east of Denver and Colorado Springs. Saw a heard a ton of birds and weather has been nice out there. Everything is green. Should be another really good year for pheasant and quail
